3:15 PM — Shimmy for the Soul

SHIMMY FOR THE SOUL is one of the busiest belly dance troupes in the Lower Mainland inviting all ages and dance levels to celebrate the ancient art form of Dance Orienta through performing a variety of styles at major family friendly events throughout the Lower Mainland and beyond. Known for their big shows, exciting props and diverse creative expression beyond the more limiting historical traditions of middle eastern dance, Shimmy for the Soul brings us together in the spirit of fun, celebrating the joy of life through introducing audiences of all ages to a unique interpretation of middle eastern dance.

New to this year’s performance are diverse styles and epic props like swords and giant light-up wings.

4:00 PM — Casual Chic Couture Fashion Show

Canadian designer Tonia Debellis can turn the most casual of clothing into something that is both comfortable and chic by adding a touch of edginess and drama to your everyday wardrobe.100% Canadian made. The Imported fashions come from different companies in Canada as well.

6:30 PM — Main Stage Dance Fashion Show

Dancers on the runway! The hottest fall fashion trends from some of Canada’s top designers hit the Main Stage in 2019! Experience our breathtaking Dance Fashion Show Presented by Pizzazz Model & Talent Agency and featuring world-class dancers from XBa School of Dance on all three days of the show.

7:30 PM — Hall of Flame Calendar Firefighters Fashion Show

Come join us for another hot Girls’ Night Out at the West Coast Women’s Show this year as the 2020 Hall of Flame Calendar Firefighters heat things up on TWO nights on both Friday and Saturday for two special fashion shows.

Grab a glass of wine or martini in the Main Stage Lounge, sit back, relax, and cheer them on while they strut their stuff down the catwalk. Seats are first-come, first-served so come early!

100% of proceeds of calendar sales support the CKNW Orphans Fund, the BCPFFA Burn Fund and the many charitable programs developed by the Vancouver Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society.

Saturday, October 19th

Claire Newell is a travel expert, author and a recognized authority on the travel industry. She is also a best-selling author of Travel Best Bets – An Insider’s Guide to Taking Your Best Trips, Ever.

Claire Newell has appeared multiple times on NBC’s The Today Show, Fox & Friends, CNN, and other national programs. For the past 25 years she has appeared 5 times per week on Global TV (BC) and is a regular guest on Global TV (National) The Morning Show and CKNW Radio (BC). She has written articles for Success, Professional Woman, Today’s Parent, Readers Digiest and various other print and online publications.

Get motivated with 7 extraordinary women as you learn how they overcame their personal struggles and how it shaped them into the business leaders they are today.

This year’s panellists include 3-time best-selling author DeeAnn Lensen; Aeryon Ashlie, one of Canada’s leading women’s health experts; TEDx Speaker, Writer, and Life Coach Ranbir Puar; and Paula Godden, owner of The Pirate + The Gypsy.

4:30 PM — Bif Naked

Rockstar and humanitarian Bif Naked is coming to the West Coast Women’s Show to headline our Women Empowering Women series.

Bif Naked is a celebrated and notorious performer in music, TV, film, and dance, and a tireless advocate and Humanitarian. Bif has transcended any and all obstacles placed in her path to become one of the world’s most unique, recognizable and beloved icons.

You are invited to the Women Empowering Women Health presentation on the Main Stage — a deep dive into women’s health with sisters Dr. Shahana Alibhai and Dr. Shabita Teja.

When do you get the opportunity to have a conversation with both your MD and ND about a critical issue in women’s health? Well now is your chance! Come learn about the fundamentals of breast health as well as what you can do to to support your overall health in this 45-minute interactive session.

She’s back! We are thrilled to announce that Michelle Stafford, aka “Phyllis Summers” from The Young and the Restless, is coming to the West Coast Women’s Show!

The “House”Wives Of Hip Hop – five strong women workin’ it in the kitchen and on the dancefloor. Led by well-known choreographer and dancer Jheric Hizon, this award-winning hip hop group consisting of over-40’s women demonstrates that you can keep “moving to the beets” at any age.
